LAPURE SOLID STATE REDOX WATER FILTERS
LaPure's solid state water filtration for city water is truly
state-of-the-art. No filter changes necessary! These solid state water filters use three filter technology that blends the adsorption capabilities of coconut shell activated carbon with REDOX, a
patented material. The initial stage, along with stages three and five, consists of a mesh filter to remove suspended particles. The
second stage consists of a patented KDF Multi-Functional Process media (REDOX). The fourth stage consists of premium grade coconut shell granular activated carbon (GAC).
Coconut Shell Granular Activated Carbon removes and/or reduces chlorine, THM's, PCB's, MTBE's and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water.
REDOX is a high purity alloy which has been certified and tested to remove and/or reduce chlorine, chlorine by-products, heavy metals, lead, mercury, arsenic, etc. REDOX also controls
the growth of algae, fungi and bacteria which ensures that the filter will remain bacteriastatic for its given life expectancy as expressed in gallons of usage.
These solid state water filters come in under counter, counter top and refrigerator ice maker models as described below.
The under counter models are installed below the sink on the cold water line. All fittings necessary for installation are included. If you want to filter drinking and cooking water only, you
should install a third faucet for the filtered water. This filter is available in a 30,000 or 50,000 gallon capacity.

LAPURE BACTERIA REMOVAL TREATMENT SYSTEMS
LaPure Undercounter Ceramic and I.L.R.C. Dual Stage Filtration Unit with third faucet.
This point of use dual cartridge system is designed to remove/reduce suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria, hydrogen sulfide organic/inorganic chemicals as well as lead and other water borne
contaminants 0.4 micron or greater in size. This unit consists of a re-usable ceramic pre-filter and an I.L.R.C. post filter as described below. The unit is
easily installed and comes with a separate faucet, fittings, and instructions.
CERAMIC RE-USABLE PRE-FILTER CARTRIDGE
This cartridge is based on a sterasyl ceramic shell that provides 0.4 micron exceptional filtration of contaminants and particulates. This cartridge is tested and certified in accordance with NSF
protocol for cyst, turbidity and particulate reduction. This cartridge can be washed and reused over and over.
PATHOGENIC BACTERIA REDUCTION: >99.9% of Cholera, Typhoid, Salmonella, Serritia,
e-coli, and fecal coliform.
CYST REDUCTION: 100% of Cryptosporidium and Giardia Lamblia
SEDIMENT REDUCTION: 0.4 micron and greater in size
I.L.R.C. CARTRIDGE
The 1 micron I.L.R.C. extruded carbon filter offers high levels of sediment, chemical and lead absorption. The I.L.R.C. has two layers of pre-filtration media offering sediment removal at 15
microns. The extruded carbon filter offers high levels of organic/inorganic chemical reduction and removal/reduction of chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, soluble iron, manganese and other
chemicals that contribute to taste and odor. The I.L.R.C. also removes high levels of soluble and insoluble lead - based on the use of KDF Multi-Functional Process Media as found in our
solid state units. It is recommended that the I.L.R.C. cartridge be replaced every 12 to 18 months. The cartridge also removes up to 99% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium Cysts and sediment
particles 1 micron or greater in size.
CHLORINE REDUCTION: 95% for 6,000 gallons at .75 gallons per minute.
LEAD REDUCTION: If effluent lead level falls below NSF and EPA guidelines of >15ppm then system removes up to 2,500 gallons.
